Meet The Norsym Team

Tiia 

Photographer and owner, Tiia Norsym, is a mom of two teens and a former elementary school teacher in Chicago and Boulder, Colorado. She has a passion for running a business and working with kids. She started photographing babies and families in 2008 and made the natural progression to working with schools and has not looked back.  Tiia and her team use their experience and understanding of young children to bring out the true personality of each child. 

When she's not behind the camera or computer, she can be found out in the Colorado sunshine walking her dog, skiing with her family, or swimming. 

Mariah

Mariah is a Chicago based photographer with a sincere passion and appreciation for photography. Since the age of 10, she has had an artistic flair which she decided to showcase through the lens of her camera. Mariah discovered her love of children & portrait photography as a photographer at The Picture People Portrait Studio for over 2 years. Since joining the Norsym School Photography team in the Fall of 2018, Mariah’s love for children's photography continues to grow.

Caroline

Caroline is a children's and family photographer. She has had a love of photography since a young age, and her friends knew that no matter the outing Caroline would have her camera with her! She also has always loved working with children, and credits the birth of her own 3 children in helping her to begin her photography career. Caroline also has a background in the performing arts, which she thinks is an asset in photography as she loves engaging with people, utilizing that to help get natural shots of her clients. She is delighted to have joined Norsym Photography in 2019. 

Ashley

Ashley and her family moved to Chicago in 2018. She is a  photographer and travel blogger. Ashley has always had a passion for photography but it was not until she started writing her blog that it was reignited. As a mom of two young boys, she loves working with kids, capturing their personalities, and creating memories that will last forever. Ashley joined Norsym School Photography in March of 2019 and is eager to grow as a photographer.
